2009 British Columbia Code Lists
Important Information for BC Producers
Changes affecting the 2009 AgriStability/AgriInvest Guide for
Corporations/Co-operations
An omission was discovered in the 2009 AgriStability/AgriInvest Corporation/Co-operative and Special Individual Harmonized Form and Guide that were distrubuted prior to April 2010. British Columbia-specific codes were unintentionally omitted from both the Regional Code List and the Inventory Code List in the guide.
The Regional Code List provides codes for provincial districts used to complete the Participant Profile in Section 2.
The Inventory Code List provides an extensive list of codes and descriptions for commodities used to complete Sections 7 and 8 of the form.
We understand this omission may have inconvenienced producers who refer to these sections when completing their 2009 form, and we apologize for the error. No other areas of the forms and guide are affected.
The 2009 AgriStability / AgriInvest Corporation / Co-operative and Special Individual Harmonized Form and Guide has been revised and is available at: 2009 AgriStability Program Publications
If you have a previous version of the Guide, the lists have now been revised and are also available below.

Monthly 2009 Published Fair Market Values List for BC Grains & Oil Seeds, Cattle and Hogs
The 2009 Published Fair Market Values List will be used by AgriStability to value commodities marked with an “X” on the Inventory Code List of the Program Guide reported in Sections 7 and 8 of your Harmonized Form.
If you have inventory that is not on 2009 Published Fair Market Values List you must supply your own fair market value in Sections 7 and 8 of your Harmonized Form.
2009 Canadian Wheat Board Adjustment Factors
The Canadian Wheat Board Receivables Adjustment (CWB) worksheet is an optional AgriStability program feature that you may use instead of the default calculation. The worksheet allows you to calculate the CWB using actual sales and the pricing option you used when you sold your CWB commodities into the active pool.
The CWB worksheet is suggested for participants who:
- sell their CWB commodities using the Early Payment Option;
- sell their grain outside of the CWB pool by using Daily Basis or Fixed Price Contracts;
- carry over inventory of CWB grain from one pool year to another pool year;
- suffer a disaster to stored grain; or
- determine that the default calculation does not accurately reflect the projected value for their operation.
To be eligible to use the CWB worksheet you must file to the Canada Revenue Agency and AgriStability on the cash basis.
