Aquaculture Policy and Procedures
Our objective is to:
- reduce the red tape associated with aquaculture applications,
- introduce clarity and consistency to a complex process,
- enhance administrative fairness,
- increase transparency, and
- respond to current industry realities.
In order to do this we have developed a common policy and set of application and approval procedures that apply equally to finfish and shellfish aquaculture.
