Floating Home Community Policy (143kb).

A floating home is defined as a structure built on a floatation system, which is used as residence and is not intended for navigation or use as a navigable craft.

If the aquatic land is under the jurisdiction of a Harbour Board or Commission please contact those agencies directly for information.

PLEASE NOTE: The Province of British Columbia (the Province) currently does not accept applications for floating home communities.
