Sheep Sorrel (Rumex acetosella)


  • perennial with slender rootstocks growing 15 to 60 cm tall; lower leaves arrow-shaped with 1 or 2 outward turning lobes at the base

  • tiny flowers are borne at the end of flowering stalks with male and female flowers on separate plants; male flowers are orange-yellow; female flowers are red-orange
