This “Foodservice Distributor Directory” is intended to facilitate the distribution of a wide variety of healthy British Columbia fresh, frozen, dry and processed food products to restaurants in the province. The directory was prepared by Novacorp Consulting Inc. of Vancouver from May through July, 2005 based on research undertaken by the company. It was commissioned by the British Columbia Restaurant & Foodservice Association (BCFRA) which has its main office in Vancouver.
The directory provides valuable distribution system information and foodservice distributor corporate information and contacts. It should prove useful to those British Columbia producers, processors and restaurants who wish to capitalize on the distribution network and supply chain within the province. It will be especially helpful to small and medium sized businesses and operators who may not fully understand the ‘producer-to-restaurant table’ supply chain and distribution system.
