BC Food Value Chain Development Fund
A value chain describes the full range of activities involved in producing goods and services and identifies areas where value is gained or lost. A value chain provides opportunities for parties involved in a supply chain to work collaboratively to add value and for each partner to capture and retain more value than they would through a regular supply chain. This concept is a proven success in many industries around the world.
To support the development of value chains in the British Columbia (BC) agriculture and food sectors, the BC Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with the Government of Canada – through the federal-provincial Growing Forward partnership – is pleased to offer Value Chain Development Funding to assist industry stakeholders in BC with the creation of a value chain development plan.
