This legislation provides the authority for motor vehicle regulations, registration and licensing for commercial transport vehicles as well as commercial vehicle configuration and safety standards. The act includes sections on overload, crossing and oversize permits and provides for prorating fees, and agreements with other governments. Also included is a section on offences and penalties.
