This Code deals with the practice and procedure of collective bargaining between employers and trade unions. The Code speaks to encouraging the resolution of workplace issues through cooperative participation between the parties, minimizing the effects of labour disputes on persons not affected, ensuring the public interest is protected during labour disputes and encouraging mediation in resolving disputes.
