MANURE SPREADING ADVISORIES
In May 2009, the Manure Spreading Advisory Committee (consisting of government and industry representatives) reviewed its manure spreading advisory process. The outcomes of the review will be more timely advisories, content that is more useful to farmers and others, and a more complete list of recipients.
There have been and will continue to be about 5 “Advisories” per year. In addition to these, “Updates” will now be released on the first business day of every month, starting in June 2009. These Updates are meant to be educational reminders and will indicate when the next Advisory will be released.
