Ministry of Agriculture
Specified Risk Materials Program
The Canada-British Columbia Specified Risk Material (SRM) Management Program (SRMMP) was a federal-provincial cost-shared program between Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the BC Ministry of Agriculture and Lands.
The funding for the SRMMP was closed on March 31, 2010. Opportunities for SRM-related projects may still exist through the Province’s portion of the funding, the Livestock Waste Tissue Initiative, administered through the Investment Agriculture Foundation.
The purpose of both programs has been to assist the province’s beef and dairy processing sectors in complying with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s enhanced feed ban regulation.
The following reports were funded through the SRM Management Program and will be posted on this website until March 31, 2012.
